Marian University Athletics Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Marian University Athletic Department to be developers of mind, body, and spirit within a learning environment by providing the opportunity for participation of the Marian University Community for student-athletes or spectator of sport. We shall support the University Mission and represent Marian, internally and externally, with high spirit and good sportsmanship.

As a component of the Marian University educational community the Athletic Department mission is to provide student-athletes the opportunity to compete at their highest level within NCAA Division III athletics. We strive to create an environment in which student-athletes will succeed in reaching their academic objectives and pursuit of athletic excellence. This can be achieved within the framework of the Marian University Core Values: Community, Learning, Service, Social Justice and Spiritual Traditions.
