The soccer field at Smith Fields is a soccer specific stadium which had its first game played on it in the fall of 2002. The field boasts a 120 x 75 yard natural grass playing surface that is well manicured and irrigated. The players are guarded from the weather by plexiglass dugouts and team rooms to meet in prior to a match and during the halftime interval. The field is lit to allow for night games.
The field has a press box, state-of-the art sound system, and a customized scoreboard. The building at Smith Fields houses a full-service concession stand, men and women restrooms, team rooms, and a ticket booth. The second floor of the "clubhouse" has the press box and a "skybox" or meeting room that seats approximately 30 people.
