Marian well represented on NACC all-scholar team
WAUKESHA, Wis. -- The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference has recognized 1,312 full-time student-athletes as scholar-athletes for the 2015-16 academic year. Marian University placed 84 student athletes on the prestigious team. Student-athletes competing in the conference must maintain a grade point average of 3.25 or higher for the academic year to be eligible for the honor. Each academic year stands by itself for determination of this award.

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Jaime Anderson and Alyssa Lennon were named to the 2015 All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference team, the league office announced. Anderson was named to the league’s second team, whole Lennon was placed on the all-freshman squad.

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Zach Peltonen, Ian Chacon and Javi Hernandez were named to the 2015 All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference team, the league office announced. Peltonen and Chacon were named to the league’s second team, while Hernandez was named to the all-freshman squad. Peltonen, a Fond du Lac native, led the Sabres in all major offensive categories. He scored seven goals and added four assists and finished with 18 points. Chacon, a true freshman goalkeeper, was a steady force in net for the Sabres. He finished with a 10-6-1 record, including three shutouts. Hernandez, a 5-foot-5 midfielder, appeared in every game for the Sabres this season and was relied on in the back end.
