Turnovers were the key to the Marian University women’s basketball team’s success today, Nov. 22, against the Mount Mary Blue Angels as 41 turnovers helped the Sabres clinch a 73-28 win. The win is the second straight for the Sabres to start off the season.

The Marian University women’s hockey team put on a show tonight, November 21, at the Blue Line Family Ice Center as the Sabres picked up their first win in team history against conference rivals Concordia Wisconsin (4-2-1) thanks to an explosive second period. With the 5-1 upset, the Sabres win their third straight and improve to 3-4 on the season.

The Marian Women’s Volleyball team (10-17 6-5) ,travelled to Milwaukee today to face the MSOE Raiders (10-15, 4-7) , fighting for the sixth seed in the NACC tournament. After taking the first two sets and gaining momentum, the Sabres were able to finish the deal and seal a postseason berth.

The Sabres (5-12, 2-8) hosted their final home-game of the year as the Benedictine Eagles (10-6-1, 1-8-1) came to town for the Sabres final NACC matchup.
