Dominican defeats Marian in three

(River Forest, IL) - Marian University fell 3-0 (25-15, 25-12, 25-17) to Dominican University on Saturday afternoon. Dominican picked up their second win of the weekend and moved to 14-8 overall and 7-2 in the Northern Athletics Conference, while Marian fell to 4-18 and 2-5 in the NAC.
Marian struggled defensively, as the Stars recorded an impressive sixteen service aces.
Kelsey Westerveld (Holmen, WI) led the team with six kills and nine digs. Alexis Becker (North Fond du Lac, WI) added five kills, while Michielah Navis (Waupun, WI) dished out 12 assists.
Marian is back in action again on Wednesday, as they will play at Alverno College.
