(Milwaukee, WI) - Marian University tallied a 3-0 (25-12, 25-3, 25-14) victory over Alverno College on Wednesday evening to move to 3-5 in the Northern Athletics Conference. The Sabres hit a season-high .414 as they recorded 39 kills and just three errors in 87 attempts.
Kelsey Westerveld (Holmen, WI) had a big night offensively as she recorded a game-high 16 kills. Andrea Millis (Darboy, WI) chipped in with 7 kills, to go along with 6 blocks. Michielah Navis (Waupun, WI) turned in a solid, all-around effort as she recorded 4 kills, 26 assists, 8 service aces, and 8 digs. Krystell Lucero (Two Rivers, WI) was credited with a team-high 10 digs.
Marian is back in action again next Tuesday, as they will host Lakeland College.
