(Rockford, IL) - Marian University shot just 33% from the floor on Tuesday evening and fell behind by as many as sixteen points in their 63-53 loss. Marian's only lead in the contest was 2-0 and they were out-rebounded 48-32 in the contest.

Rockford (8-7, 3-5 NAC) led the Sabres (6-10, 3-5 NAC) 34-22 at the break as the Sabres were just 8-for-27 from the floor. The Regents dominated play in the paint as they outscored the Sabres 30-2 underneath in the first half.

The Sabres never really threatened in the second half as they trailed by as many as twenty-three points before making a run late in the game.

Marian had nobody score in double-digits and were led by Jeff Harris (Calumet Park, IL) as he had 9 points off the bench. Kevin Hudak (Ashwaubenon, WI) added 8 points.

Leon Alford led the Regents with 18 points.
