Sabres win big at Silver Lake

(Manitowoc, WI) - Marian University defeated Silver Lake College 68-44 on Thursday evening to move to 5-12 on the season. The Sabres out-rebounded the Lakers 55-32 in the contest and outshot the Lakers (38%-30%) in the contest. Marian never trailed in the contest as the victory was their second largest margin of victory this season.
Marian received several outstanding performances in the contest. Brooke Haen (Oakfield, WI) led he Sabres with 22 points. Emily Reiter (Hilbert, WI) poured in 15 points and had a season-high 20 rebounds. Alexis Becker (North Fond du Lac, WI) flirted with a triple-double as she scored 13 points, pulled down 13 rebounds, and added 8 assists. She also recorded 6 steals.
The Sabres are back in action again on Saturday, as they will play on the road at Aurora.
