(Fond du Lac, WI) - The Northern Athletics Conference has announced the conference's women's golf awards for the 2009 fall season. The 10-member All-Northern Athletics Conference team is based on performances at NAC sanctioned events, including the 2009 NAC Women's Golf Championship.

Leading the All-NAC team was Concordia University Wisconsin's Muriel McIntyre (British Columbia, Canada/Werner Academy), who also received the NAC Player of the Year award for the second straight season. The sophomore leads the conference with an 81.7 per round average this fall season and had lows of 75 and 76 at the Benedictine University Invitational in late September. McIntyre's Falcon team also won their first NAC title yesterday at Glen Erin G.C. in Janesville, Wis., in addition to her second consecutive medalist honor at the championship.

Concordia Wisconsin's head coach Jeff Loose was named NAC Coach of the Year, as voted on by his peers. The Falcons won five events this season, including the NAC championship.

Benedictine's Alexis Wadowski (New Lenox, Ill./Providence Catholic) was named NAC Freshman of the Year in addition to her inclusion on the All-NAC team.

Marian freshmen Alex DeBoer (Spring Lake Park, MN) and Sara Falk (Berlin, WI) were named to the All-NAC Team. DeBoer averaged a 90.2 this season, while Falk averaged a 93.3. DeBoer's lowest round was an 84, while Falk's was an 89.
