Sabres lose final home game

(Fond du Lac, WI) - Maranatha Baptist  Bible College shot 49% from the field on Tuesday evening and defeated Marian University 70-54. The Crusaders ended their nine-game losing streak against Marian in the process. 

Maranatha shot 52% from the field in the first half and took a 33-30 lead into the locker room. Marian shot 37% from the field in the half. 

In the second, the Sabres cut the deficit to three points early, but trailed by double-digits for much of the half. 

Colin Lohenry (Algoma, WI) led the Sabres with 11 points, while Kevin Hudak (Ashwaubenon, WI) added 10 points. 

The Crusaders out-rebounded the Sabres 41-34 and held the Sabres to 34% from the field in the contest. 

Marian's Hudak, Logan Rankin (Algoma, WI), Bryan Ashbeck (Wabeno, WI), Andrew Georgson (Jefferson, WI), Joel Clark (Ashwaubenon, WI), and Nick DeRidder (Edgewater, MD) all played their last game in a Sabre uniform on Tuesday evening.
