(Lisle, IL) - Marian University closed out their 2009-2010 campaign with a 72-54 defeat at Benedictine University in the NAC Crossover game. The Sabres closed out the season with a 9-16 record. 

The Sabres trailed 37-23 at the break and continued to trail by double-digits in the second half. 

The Eagles shot 25-for-53 (47%) in the contest and held Marian to 22-for-58 (38%) shooting. 

Marian was led by Bryan Ashbeck (Wabeno, WI) as he scored 13 points in his final game as a Sabre. Logan Rankin (Algoma, WI) finished with 10 points in his final game as well. 

Colin Lohenry (Algoma, WI) and Andrew Georgson (Jefferson, WI) both pulled down 9 rebounds for the Sabres. 

Jerrell Tribble led the Eagles with 21 points. 

Benedictine finished the season with a 14-11 record.
