Women skaters lose season finale

(Fond du Lac, WI) - Marian University dropped their season finale to #6-ranked, UW-River Falls by a score of 10-0 on Saturday afternoon at the Blue Line Family Ice Center. A night after receiving a scare from the Sabres, the Falcons offense proved too much for the Sabres to handle.
The Falcons outshot the Sabres 58-12 and scored twice in the first, three times in the second and five times in the third in the victory. They also finished 1-for-4 on the power play.
The Falcons were led by Jessica Thompson (3G/1A) and Katie Flanagan (1G/3A).
Marian finished the season 2-21 overall and 1-15 in the NCHA.
