(Fond du Lac, WI) - The Northern Athletics Conference has announced the All-Northern Athletics Conference awards for the 2009-2010 men's basketball season and Marian's
Logan Rankin (Algoma, WI) and
Jeff Harris (Calumet Park, IL) were honored. Rankin, a senior, was a Second Team All-NAC Selection, while Harris was named to the All-Freshman Team.
Rankin led the Sabres in scoring (16.4 ppg) and rebounding (7.7 rpg) this past season. In November, Rankin became the 14th player in school history to record his 1,000th career point. He finished his career with 1,271 points, which places him sixth on the Marian all-time scoring list. He is second all-time in rebounding with 695 career rebounds.
Harris finished fourth in the NAC in three-point field goal percentage and averaged 7.4 ppg. He finished tied for the team-lead in three-pointers made with 38.
Marian's
Kevin Hudak (Ashwaubenon, WI) was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team.
Aurora's Lance Robinson was named the NAC Player-of-the-Year, while his coach James Lancaster was named the Coach-of-the-Year. Maranatha's Joel Borchardt earned Freshman-of-the-Year honors.
