(Fond du Lac, WI) - Marian University’s men’s hockey team raised a total of $1500 from their annual “Pink Out” game that was held on January 30.
The check was received by Breast Care Coordinators and Marian alumnae Kay Groeschl, RN, and Lisa Michels, RN, on behalf of Agnesian HealthCare. The check was presented by Interim President of Marian University Sister Mary Mollison, Head Men’s Hockey Coach, Jasen Wise, and members of the 2009-2010 men’s hockey team Jason Ford, captain, Ryan Hitchcock and Brendan Hull.
“Pink Out” was another major success for the Fond du Lac community. This is the third year the men’s hockey team organized the event. The money will be donated to Agnesian HealthCare’s Imaging Department, in order to provide mammograms for women who cannot afford one.
Previous years proceeds have been donated to the Deanna Farve Hope Foundation and to the St. Baldrick’s Children’s Cancer Foundation. The Marian University men’s hockey team has made a commitment to partner with Agnesian HealthCare and future “Pink Out’s.”
