(Fond du Lac, WI) - Marian University had no problems with Maranatha Baptist on Friday afternoon at Herr-Baker Field, as they won a pair of games by virtue of the ten-run rule. The Sabres won game one 12-1 and then took the nightcap 18-5.

Ryan Hiller (Marshfield, WI), Jace Unrein (Racine, WI), and Josh Klismith (Stevens Point, WI) all had a pair of hits. Hiller and Klismith each drove in three runs. Hiller homered in the fifth inning.

In game two, Marian fell behind 3-1 in the second, but quickly erased the deficit with a ten-run third inning. The Sabres recorded five hits in the inning, with Holtz delivering the big blow as he crushed a deep, three-run home run. The Sabres also had a big sixth inning as they recorded six runs.
