Mission Statement
The Athletic Training Staff at Marian University is dedicated to delivering the highest quality care to the student-athlete, while supporting the athletic department’s goals for excellence in academics and athletics. All student-athletes will be provided to our services, while all injuries will be managed, treated, and rehabilitated to ensure a safe return to participation.
Student-Athlete Medical Forms
All athletes who plan on participating (on the roster or trying out) for any athletic team at Marian University must have completed all required medical forms on file in the athletic training office prior to engaging in any practice or contests.

Incoming Freshmen, Juniors and Transfer Students must have a physical.

Services Available:
The athletic training room is located in the Howard L. Sadoff Memorial Gymnasium in the mezzanine. Teams are encouraged to use this facility for taping and treatment needs. If the location of your event is at Smith Fields/ Herr-Baker Field/Blue-Line Family Ice Center, arrangements must be made for treatments to be done in the training room.

A certified athletic trainer will be present at all soccer, volleyball, cross country, basketball, hockey, baseball and softball games. A certified athletic trainer will be available for golf and tennis.
Note: If your team will not be traveling with a certified athletic trainer please contact us and let us know of any special needs or requests. A signed note by a certified athletic trainer or team physician is needed for electrical modality treatment. Please provide a kit with supplies for our staff to treat/tape your athletes.
