FOND DU LAC, Wis. - For a third consecutive year, Marian University men's hockey will host the opening round of the NCHA Harris Cup Playoffs when the Sabres take on St. Scholastica.
The quarterfinal round of the NCHA Harris Cup Playoffs consists of a two-game series and if the two teams split that series a mini-game to immediately follow the second game. Both games will be played on Rink A at Blue Line Family Ice Center with the opener set for a 5:30 p.m. start time Friday, February 16. The finale of the series will begin at 5 p.m. the following day, Saturday, February 17. If necessary, the mini-game is one 20-minute period that will immediately follow the finale. Should the two teams remain tied after the 20-minute mini-game, the teams will play 20-minute sudden-death periods until a winner is determined.

The winner of the series will move on to take on the winner of the Lawrence at St. Norbert quarterfinal Saturday, February 24 to determine the champion for the NCHA North Division.
