FOND DU LAC, Wis. - Marian University women's golf shot a team score of 460 and are in eighth place after the opening round of the Marian University Invite.
Concordia Wisconsin leads by a stroke over Lake Forest after shooting a team score of 361. Junior Tayler Wise shot an 85, her lowest round of the season and fifth lowest round in program history, and sits atop the individual leaderboard along with Ellyn Mortell of Wisconsin Lutheran.
Senior Taylor Lockhart was next in for the Sabres with a 106 and she was followed by junior Allison Grosenick who finished with a 114. In her first career round, senior Brandi Bender closed out the Sabre scoring with a 155.
Marian closes out their home meet tomorrow, Sunday, Sept. 17, from Whispering Springs Golf Course.
