FOND DU LAC, Wis. - Marian University women's golf shot a team score of 468 at the second round of the Marian Invite to finish in eighth.
Concordia Wisconsin and Lake Forest tied for the team title with the Foresters edging out the Falcons by two strokes in a tiebreak for the win.
Junior Tayler Wise shot an 83 to set a Marian women's golf program record for a single round and went on to win the invite with a total of 168.
Senior Taylor Lockhart matched her 106 from the previous round to finish in second for the Sabres. Junior Allison Grosenick shot a 115, one shot off her pace from the first round. Senior Brandi Bender closed out her first career meet with a 165 to close out the scoring. In her first career round, senior Kerianna Disterhaft shot a 164 to round out the Marian lineup.
Marian next travels to the UW-Whitewater Invite Sept. 22-23 at Blackhawk Country Club.
