Wise moves up at second day of NACC Championship

RACINE, Wis. - Marian University women's golf improved by 42 strokes at the second round of the NACC Championship and sit just two strokes behind WLC for fifth place.

Aurora University remains in first place by eight strokes with Maddy Zastrow of Concordia Wisconsin sitting atop the individual leaderboard.

Junior Tayler Wise moved into third place after shooting an 88 for a two-day total of 175.  Wise currently is five strokes behind Zastrow.  Senior Taylor Lockhart sits in a tie for 22nd after shooting a 109.  Junior Allison Grosenick improved by 25 strokes shooting a 101 to move into 26th place.  Senior Brandi Bender improved by 20 strokes with a 126 to round out the Marian lineup.

The Sabres conclude the fall portion of their season when they complete the NACC Championship tomorrow, Sunday, Oct. 1, from Meadowbrook Country Club.
