Reimer Collects NAC Player of the Week Honors

WAUKESHA, Wis. (SabreAthletics.com) – Senior setter Katie Reimer has been named Northern Athletics Conference Player of the Week after recording her first career triple-double in the team's final regular season match last week, the league office announced today, Oct. 30.

The Fond du Lac native put forth a strong effort despite a five-set loss to Maranatha in a thrilling regular season and home finale last Tuesday, Oct. 23. Reimer accounted for a career-high 50 assists, a team-high 21 digs and 10 kills on a .381 kill percentage for her first career triple-double.

She led the Sabres to a 2-1 sets lead in the match, but Maranatha, the fourth-seed in this year's NAC tournament, stormed back to take the final two sets and the match.

Reimer guided Marian to the sixth seed in the tournament and will face third-seeded Dominican, tonight, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. Live stats and video will be provided by Dominican sports information.
