Marian cross country competes at NACC Championships

MEQUON, Wis. - Marian University closed out the regular season portion of their season competing in the NACC CHampionships.

The men kicked off the meet with Aurora earning the team title with a score of 46, while Jacob Jodat of Wisconsin Lutheran earned the individual title with a time of 26:04.8.

Jacob Leiden once again paved the way for the Sabres finishing in 31st place with a time of 29:12.0.  Next in for MU was Adam Sydow who clocked a time of 35:17.2, while Jarod Silhavy rounded out the Marian lineup with a 36:07.4.

On the women's side, host Concordia Wisconsin recorded a score of 40 points to take the team title with Emma Roberts of Benedictine crossing the line first with a time of 22:46.6.

Alyssa Zuhlke once again put together a strong run finishing in 33rd place with a time of 26:39.9, while Kayla Gregar crossed the line in 49th place with a time of 27:51.1.

The Sabres close out the season at the NCAA Regionals Saturday, Nov. 11 from Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island, Ill.
