HARTFORD, Wis. - Marian University men's golf shot 12-over par 300 to tie a season-low mark for a single round and finish third at the WLC Spring Invitational.
The second Carthage team wound up with the team title shooting a seven-over par 295 and were led by Reid Anderson who tied with Sam Schlosser with a one-under par 71 for the individual title.
Maxwell Dye and AJ Rambaud each shot a two-over par 74 to finish in a tie for sixth place and lead the Sabres. For Rambaud, the 74 was his lowest round of the season. One stroke behind them was Caleb Martin who finished in a tie for eighth place with a three-over par 75.
Marian closes out the season Friday, May 4 at The Bull in Sheboygan, Wis. for the inaugural Marian-Lakeland Ryder Cup.
