FOND DU LAC, Wis. - Marian University men's hockey (6-5-3, 4-4-1 NCHA) earned a 3-0 victory over Northland College behind Mike Baldwin's second shutout of the season and a multi-goal game from Devin Stuermer.
Tanner Pagendam started the scoring early for the Sabres at the 3:28 mark with his third goal of the season before Stuermer added to the early 1-0 lead with his seventh goal at the 8:06 mark. Gianni Mangone assisted on both goals, while Cole McCaig assisted Pagendam and Mike Zajac assisted Stuermer.
The second period saw both goaltenders play well with no goals before a third period goal from Stuermer with 9:30 remaining in the contest, assists from Hunter Stewart and Derek Thorogood, ended any thoughts of a Northland comeback and put the final at 3-0.

Warren Carter would lead the team with a game-high six shots on goal, while Thorogood finished the game going 7-12 in the face off circle.
Baldwin stopped all 18 shots sent his way, 12 coming in the second period, as he improved to 4-2-3 on the year.
