WAUKESHA, Wis. - Freshman Colt Robertson of Marian University men's lacrosse has been named the MLC offensive player of the week for the first time in his career, as voted on by the sports information directors of the conference.
Robertson (Reno, Nev.) produced 21 points over the course of three games to lead the Sabres to a 3-0 week. The rookie attacker had a hand in six of the nine Marian goals against MSOE and had an 11-point performance against Beloit College with seven goals and four assists. In total, Robertson had 12 goals with nine assists to go with four ground balls for the week. Robertson closed out his first season as a Sabre with 39 goals and 34 assists for 73 points.
