Sabre women's golf opens season at UW-Oshkosh Titan Classic

OSHKOSH, Wis. - Marian University women's golf opened the 2018-19 campaign competing in the UW-Oshkosh Titan Classic.

Allison Grosenick led the way for Marian after she saw a six-stroke improvement in the second round finishing with a two-round total of 246.  Shelby Davidson had a strong showing in the first round of the tournament but her second round was a little more difficult as she finished with a 258.  Sydney Clark rounded out the group as she saw a nine-stroke improvement in the second round to finish with a 273.

UW-Oshkosh set a tournament record in the opening round and went on to win the tournament by 21 strokes.  The Titans were led by Hannah Braun who won the individual title shooting eight-over par in her two rounds.

The Sabres will next travel to Meadowbrook Country Club for the NACC Preview Sunday, Sept. 9.
