Sabres find their stride at Sabercat Invite

WATERTOWN, Wis. - The Marian University cross country team traveled to the Sabercat Invite and placed both runners inside the top-10 at the meet.

Jacob Leiden led the way for Marian placing second with a time of 28:42.4, while Isaac Kinjerski finished in 10th at the 31:57.2 mark.  Both runners also set personal records at the meet with Leiden finishing 1:52 ahead of his previous best, and Kinjerski crossed the line 4:22 quicker than his previous best.

Marian next travels to the Gene Davis Invitational hosted by Lawrence University Saturday, Oct. 10.
